I think I have finally got a handle on how I want TZC6 to go. For your reading pleasure, I've posted chapter 1 now here: TZC6:Unnamed Chapter 1

I wrote a little on the fantasy story today: A1 - Assualt on Blacktooth Ridge I kind of like wordsmything on it as it is so far out of my 'normal' genre and, well, honestly, it will never pay. The world belongs to Troll Lord Games so it is fan fiction, more or less. There seems to be a purity in writing something I won't profit from. LOL, or maybe I'm listening too much to my inner Joru?
I've been adding a lot of the old content back to the website these last few days. All of the first three books are up now. TZC1, TZC2, TZC3 and the first five stories of Billions are back too. I still have a lot of the old content to get through and I am certain I will not replace everything as it was. For instance, I may not re-post the side novels out of the Zombie Chronicles Universe again.
You just have to love the fall, don’t you? I’m mostly talking to the zombie aficionados out there. I mean fall equals decay, like a zombie’s slowly rotting corpse. I’ve always like the fall and the spring, in that order. Winter is a bit boring, cold, sterile almost and not a lot going on, to the point where you start to long for a snow storm, even as an adult. Summer is merely okay for being out on the deck, on account of the gawddamned flies.
Well, four chapters maybe. The new chapters start here: Reset Chapter 2
I have also been working on another story, inspired by Daryl Bem, look him up if you want an interesting read of non-fiction worth writing science fiction about.
I have finally gotten around to posting the beginning chapter of 'Reset', I have a couple more in the can already and will serve them up soon. Writing time is still difficult to find. Give me...a year... maybe a year and a half and I'll explain whats been going on with my life then.
A space opera, with mankind facing a war with an implacable alien race. Artificial intelligences, backward, God fearing technophobes, treachery and complicated social weaves as different human culture bond together to fight for their existence.
Lately I've been busy, spring is in the air, after all. I own an acre of land, or an acre of lawn might be more accurate, sure there is a shed on it and a couple incredibly minuscule garden beds, as well as the usual trimmings around any structures that need regular maintenance every year. This always makes for a couple busy weeks in the spring and for less free time over all when it is finally warm enough for things to grow in Central Iowa. I love getting outside and this year my exuberance for yard works seems to know few bounds, perhaps it’s my new lease on this life of mine?
This weekend has been wonderful. I have made the journey to my personal mecca (Lake Geneva, WI), spent a great deal of money, had a lot of laughs and enjoyed the company of old friends and new. This morning I was up to play a game of Artemis, a space ship simulator, and picked up a coffee and a bite to eat, which I brought up to the floor the game was on. It’s the weird little things that happen that make life worth living, isn’t it? As I was sitting at a free table to chow down, a gentleman came over and asked if he could use the other end of the table to sign some stuff for a fan.
