Discovery

Max was still alive. The suburbs of Denver were no place to stay during a zombie outbreak, let alone during the nuclear fallout blanketing the area. So and his companions Officer Jane Stewart, Tom Elby, Amelia Bryon, Max's two kids, Nick and Jessica and two other kids they had picked up alone the way, Cory and Erin, loaded up his mini van and headed east. Why east? There were less people there for one thing, for another Tom's parents lived out that direction and Max's friend Bill Carson had a small farm in Iowa.

Out in Iowa Bill was living his normal life, there was something going on, the news was full of violent images, but when wasn't it? All too quickly his normal world came crashing down around him as he is faced with one bad choice after another.
